QA Engineer Team Lead

Lead our QA team and own quality across every product we ship — set the test strategy, mentor QA engineers, and still get hands-on with test design and automation.

You will lead the QA function for AIDC Tech: build and own the test strategy across web and mobile products, manage and grow a small team of QA engineers, and work closely with development squads to keep every release solid. This is a hands-on lead role — you'll still write test plans and review automation, not just manage.

What you will do

• Own the QA strategy and test standards across all product squads
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of QA engineers
• Design test plans and review test cases for major releases
• Drive test automation coverage (Playwright/Cypress, API tests with Postman)
• Partner with development leads to set quality gates and release criteria
• Track quality metrics and report release readiness to leadership
• Triage and prioritize bugs across squads, keeping test debt visible

What we look for

• 3+ years in software QA, including experience leading or mentoring testers
• Strong manual and automated testing background (web & mobile)
• API testing with Postman; comfortable reading logs and basic SQL
• Clear communicator — can set standards and give feedback across teams
• Lao or Thai + working English

Nice to have

• Test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest)
• Performance testing (k6)
• CI/CD experience integrating automated tests into pipelines
• ISTQB certification (Foundation or above)
